If a student fails an examination, he or she, in accordance with university policy, is entitled to sit another examination. Please note, however, that the [i]grade from the re-take exam will be averaged with the grade from the previous (failed) exam[i].
Course Grading Scale:
Grades are based on the point scale below. In other words, good grades must be earned. The total number of points that can be earned in an examination is 100. All exams are graded on a standard point system, which works on the principle that all points have equal value. Some exam questions are worth several points; these will be clearly labelled on the exam. Final judgement is awarded using the following scale:
European Credit ---- (LKAEM equivalent)
94-100 - A---- (5.0)
85-93 - B---- (4.5)
75-84 - C---- (4.0)
65-74 - D---- (3.5)
below 64 - F---- (2.0)
