Course Syllabus
Course Objectives
To expand upon the experiences of the MBA student by building a solid foundation of issues, practices, theories, and philosophies that constitute the study of management. Specifically:
- To examine management theory, techniques, and practices
- To develop a better understanding of management and organisational behaviour
- To integrate the knowledge, experiences, and skills of practitioners and academic study
- To improve the formulation, presentation, and defence of oral argument and opinion
- To improve management skills
Teaching Methods
Lectures, reading material, case studies, slide presentations, audio-visuals (documentaries), class discussions.
Assessment
One examinations at the end of the course (a 90-questions multiple choice exam).

Classroom: 32 hours
Self Study: 32 hours
i.e.: One hour of self study should accompany each hour of classroom instruction.
